David Kirsch

President

David Kirsch is President of the Transatlantics Club. He is as a Senior Professional in IT-Management and advises on security, strategic communications, and international politics. From 2019 to 2021, he served on the board of the Young Transatlantic Initiative in Germany. As a Global Enthusiast and staunch Transatlanticist, he has worked across five countries and studied in three. In his free time, he plays competitive table tennis — and became Vice Champion of Vienna in 2025.

Yannic Haimeder

Vice President

Yannic Haimeder is Vice President of the Transatlantics Club and was a founding member of the Vienna City Hub in early 2024. He works as a Senior Communication Specialist in the finance and banking industry. Prior to that, he was responsible for public relations at a political think tank in Austria. Yannic is known for his sharp eye for messaging and his unwavering loyalty to well-chosen ties.

Daniel Undeutsch

Secretary General

Daniel Undeutsch is Secretary General of the Transatlantics Club and works in Operations and Efficiency Management in the banking industry. Based on his past experience in technology consulting, he has a strong transatlantic connection between Austria, Europe and the United States. In his free time, he develops software with Artificial Intelligence.

Alexandra Chronopoulos

Alexandra Chronopoulos works as the Communications Officer at the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI) in Vienna and as a Contributing Researcher to the Canadian Department of National Defence, where she specializes in research and policymaking related to space deterrence, security and defence, and governance. She is a graduate of the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) at Carleton University, where she pursued a Master's of Arts in International Organizations & Global Public Policy with a research focus on outer space policy and governance. She previously completed a Visiting Research Scholar fellowship at the University of Antwerp, and held the positions of Strategic Analyst at Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) and Publications Editor at the Mackenzie Institute for the Study of Terrorism, Revolution and Propaganda.

Alexander Sawicki

Alexander is a dual Canadian-Polish citizen currently based in Vienna and employed at the Casimir Pułaski Foundation, where he works as a contributing Research Fellow specializing in hybrid threats, disinformation warfare, and propaganda. He earned his stripes in the Canadian public policy world: first in immigration and customs enforcement, and later in international trade policy. Alex also has extensive research experience in the field of political extremism & radicalization, propaganda, and how conspiracy theories influence electoral outcomes in democratic societies. He holds a MA in European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies from Carleton University, and published a Master's thesis entitled, 'Political Messaging in a Post-Truth Era: An Examination of How Conspiratorial Beliefs Influenced Electoral Outcomes in Poland Between 2015-2019.'
