Not Everyone Can Join. But You Can Apply.
The Transatlantics Club is not for everyone and that’s precisely the point.
We offer what others only promise: substance, access, and a commitment to values.
Our mission is to build the leading independent forum for transatlantic thinkers and doers. A place where democratic convictions meet strategic exchange and where people across generations and industries engage in real conversations, not empty networking.
We connect those who understand that the West is not a direction on a map, but a shared responsibility. The Transatlantics Club is more than an alumni group, a talking shop, or a political bubble — it is a curated space for people who believe in the future of transatlantic relations, and are ready to take responsibility for shaping it.

Our Values As Transatlantics Club
We are an exclusive club and we mean that in the best sense.
We believe that mutual respect, discretion, and a willingness to listen are the cornerstones of meaningful exchange. That’s why we follow the Chatham House Rule: what’s said in the room stays in the room. This is what makes our conversations honest, relevant and worth having.
That’s what makes our conversations honest, personal, and relevant even when opinions differ.
We welcome different opinions, backgrounds, and life paths. Debate is part of who we are. What we expect, however, is mutual respect and a basic agreement on the principles that hold free societies together.
That includes a commitment to democratic rules, respect for others regardless of origin or belief, and a clear rejection of ideologies that seek to undermine these foundations.
We are not a platform for outrage or provocation. We are a place for thoughtful exchange across generations, across professions, and across borders.
We are proudly non-partisan. We value the open exchange of different opinions even, and especially, when they differ.
At the same time, we expect a shared commitment to the principles that underpin free societies.
That includes a respect for democratic processes, for the dignity of others regardless of background or belief, and for the idea that debate should never come at the expense of decency. We are not a platform for provocation, nor a place for slogans. We are a space for thoughtful conversation across generations, professions, and borders rooted in trust, seriousness, and shared principles.
At our core, we believe in democracy, the rule of law, individual freedom, and open discourse. These are not partisan ideals they are the precondition for pluralism and the common ground on which real dialogue becomes possible.
If that resonates with you, we’d be delighted to have you with us.
